2020 IBMA BLUEGRASS MUSIC AWARDS TO AIR ON CIRCLE TV

The awards show will air January 18 at 8pm ET with a repeat viewing at 12am ET and feature performances from Sister Sadie, Del McCoury Band, Billy Strings, Special Consensus, tributes to Doc Watson & J.D. Crowe, and more.

Show includes induction ceremonies for the 2020 Bluegrass Hall of Fame Class: New Grass Revival, Johnson Mountain Boys, and J.T. Gray, Owner of Nashville’s World Famous Station Inn.

NASHVILLE, Jan 12, 2021 – The International Bluegrass Music Association will air the 31st Annual IBMA Bluegrass Music Awards presented by Count On Me NC on Circle TV and affiliated platforms on January 18 at 8pm ET with a repeat viewing at 12am ET. Taped at the Ryman Auditorium with additional performances and presentations from across the United States, the show originally aired during IBMA Virtual World of Bluegrass. The first-ever virtual format was met with critical acclaim and has been viewed by a record number of bluegrass fans.

In conjunction with this special event, Circle TV will host a night of bluegrass programming including two Grand Ole Opry shows with Ricky Skaggs and Dailey & Vincent and also Old Crow Medicine Show, Billy Strings, and Molly Tuttle, as well as an episode of Opry Docs on Bill Monroe.

This year’s IBMA Bluegrass Music Awards, hosted by Sierra Hull, Joe Newberry, Tim O’Brien and Rhonda Vincent, features performances and presentations by Brooke Aldridge, Balsam Range, Kristin Scott Benson, Dale Ann Bradley, Gena Britt, Alison Brown, Mike Bub, Becky Buller, Sam Bush, Michael Cleveland and Flamekeeper, Katy Daley, Jerry Douglas, Stuart Duncan, Gina Furtado, David Grier, Trey Hensley, Rob Ickes, Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver, Ned Luberecki, Del McCoury Band, Missy Raines, Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers, Sister Sadie, Amanda Smith, Special Consensus, Billy Strings, Bryan Sutton, The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys, Taj Mahal, The Travelin’ McCourys, Molly Tuttle, Scott Vestal, and Jake Workman. Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame induction ceremonies include presentations by Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, and Ronnie McCoury.
